Everything Releasing On (And Leaving From) Netflix In May 2022

Wow. Netflix has had a rough month, eh? The first quarterly subscriber loss… ever! Ad-tier coming in 2022-2023. Tons of reform to their animation division including the cancellation of a bunch of highly anticipated projects, like Bone.

That doesn’t mean Netflix is done. Far from it. There are still plenty of great originals coming every month and in the 2nd half of this year the new library and output deals they’ve signed with Universal and Sony will provide a steady rotation of hits. We can’t wait for Uncharted and Morbius later this year.

What’s good in May? Well, Netflix’s continued flirtation with Paramount+ continues as they add two Ninja Turtles cartoons and the Jackass film series. We really think Netflix should just buy Paramount. We’re looking forward to Stranger Things and we plan to check out new Original films, Marmaduke and Senior Year.
