National Geographic has announced their annual Sharkfest programming and this year Disney+ gets to swim in the deep end! The first 4 Fridays in July will see brand new shark specials and series added to Disney+ the same week they air on Nat Geo!
Orca vs Great White is currently scheduled to arrive on Disney+ July 9th. It premieres July 6th on National Geographic’s linear channel.
Synopsis: Off the coast of South Africa in 2017, orcas began hunting and killing great white sharks. Now, researchers in New Zealand set out to discover if it could happen again. Diving with several shark populations along New Zealand’s southern coast, they investigate this murder mystery and seek answers to this burning question: have their local orcas developed a taste for great white sharks?
