Some series on Disney+ are missing episodes. Some are missing full seasons. Mostly Nat Geo and A&E Networks shows. If you know of any we missed – please contact us or tweet us up.

Missing Episodes on Disney+

1. The Little Mermaid (1992-1994)

Episode 1, “A Whale of a Tale” is missing despite being available on VOD like Google Play and YouTube along with the rest of the series. This is not a banned episode. We don’t believe it’s acceptable for a television series to be missing its pilot so enjoy.

2. TaleSpin (1990)

2 episodes are missing: Lost Horizons and Flying Dupes. Both are on VOD sites like YouTube and Prime Video along with the rest of the series. Since all 65 episodes are available, why does Disney+ only stream 63?

3. Roll it Back (Shorts)

This webseries from Just Roll With It is missing its Bloopers episode. The whole series is free on YouTube where it originated. Why is this one episode not on Disney+? Could the blooper aspect present a licensing issue?

4. Darkwing Duck (1991-1993)

“Hot Spells” is missing in the USA… while the recently launched services in Thailand and Malaysia enjoy it…

5. Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles (2013-2014)

The first 3 episodes are missing. The Phantom Clone, Menace of the Sith, Attack of the Jedi. Frustrating. Seem likely they will never be streaming. Some speculate this is due to Cartoon Network retaining distribution rights.

6. DuckTales (1987-1990)

“Sphinx for the Memories” is missing. Why? It doesn’t deserve to be missing. It’s one of few original DuckTales episodes to feature Donald Duck! Maybe it was banned but it’s time to unban it and add a disclaimer about the portrayal of Egyptians being offensive. That’s the presumed reason it’s missing, at least.

Season 2, Episode 15 is missing

8. Bluey

Missing episodes are : 1×48, 2×13 YEP. They’re STILL banning things in 2022.

It’s disgusting that preschool shows that are fine in Australia are “BANNED” in USA for such minor infarctions as a dad pretending he’s pregnant. By the way, 1×48 (Teasing) has been unbanned and airs unedited on Disney Junior. But Disney+ still doesn’t have it.

9. Dinosaurs

Episode 2×09 (according to Disney+ order) – A New Leaf – has been banned globally for being an anti-drugs episode. Drugs are good, kids, don’t you see? The episode was available back in July, we believe it was removed within the past week. Proof it existed:

10) Bear in the Big Blue House

A whopping 9 missing episodes, including Part 2 of the Christmas special. Yikes.

The most ridiculous of all absences - part 2 of Bear's Christmas episode.

11) Locked Up Abroad

Season 3 episodes 1, 2, 5, 9, 12

Season 4 episodes 1, 2, and 6

12) Ancient X-Files (2010)

Season 2 episodes 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9. 12, and 13 are missing as well as the entire 1st season which only included 3 episodes.

Missing Seasons on Disney+

1) The Replacements

We spoke with the creator a while back and he had no clue why season 2 was missing globally. Added at launch, we’re still waiting 3 years for the 2nd season… Weirdly enough, both seasons are on TVOD?

Todd and Riley were oh so sad… when they found out season 2 was missing.

2) Science of Stupid

Seasons 1-7 are missing.

3) Locked Up Abroad

Seasons 1-2 are missing. Season 1 is on TVOD.

4) Lost Treasures of Egypt

Season 2 is missing! It’s exclusive to NatGeoTV.com and streaming outside USA.

5) Great Christmas Light Fight

Seasons 1-8 are missing. Disgustingly enough, the back catalog got renewed on Hulu this past holiday season.

6) AFV

Most seasons are missing. Their disrespectful content team recently removed 3 of the ones they’d given in 2020 and earlier in 2022 proceeded to drop 6 seasons on Hulu instead of Disney+. Shameful behavior and mismanagement of catalog. Missing seasons are: 1-17; 20-22; 24-33
