Netflix adds reserved pages for their originals months before they release. Disney+ often waits until the week of release, if they add a page at all. We’ve been pushing for them to improve that for almost a year now with constant e-mails to the publicists associated with the originals via their press releases. Here is the ever-growing list of upcoming originals (with release dates or release windows) that still need coming soon pages as well as a list of originals who never got a page.
We believe strongly that the Coming Soon row should promote each month’s new library additions as well. This is the expectation set by Netflix and to a lesser extent HBO Max’s top of the class Coming Soon features. However, we’re only tracking the originals because that should be the bare minimum.
